What is Organic Sanity All About?

The Organic Sanity Blog will be mainly used to keep up to date with developments on the main website as well as reporting on any new or interesting facts about the world of organic food, farming, gardening and lifestyle.

The site is still in the process of being built and the series of articles found on The Honest Way website, is progressing nicely. So under normal circumstances, there’d be a lot more time spent on the actual build and then populating with content and resources. But things change, as does life itself and I was getting a little impatient to get the live site up and running, as I have so much work to do in creating the content from the information that’s pounding away inside my head.

So I moved the site forward a bit in order to allow myself the luxury of adding some nice resources that I found in my travels. I also changed the main keywords of the site, which caused me a tremendous amount of work in updating all the individual articles and every individual file that corresponded to each article. That was no mean feat, but it’s done now and I’m happier with the result.

The main keyword change was necessary if I’m going to stand any chance of gaining the popularity for this site that is necessary to enable me to keep it going. Professional web hosting does not come for free.

That is unless you want to put up a quick site about personal things, don’t mind all the host’s flashy banner advertising all over you homepage and are happy to have no control over your storage and bandwidth settings.

I wanted that rather important control over how my site looked and could grow as it’s popularity grew as well as the comfort in knowing that this site will be up on the air 99.9% of the time (that’s a guarantee from my hosting company, Hostgator)

Anyhow, this site will have to pay for itself at the very least, so I’m including some affiliate products and resources to try and make some commission to pay the expenses of keeping this site on the air.

The rest is a labour of love.

I want to spread the good word about the organic lifestyle because I truly believe that if we as a race don’t stop poisoning the earth that we live on we will ultimately wipe ourselves out. It probably won’t happen in our lifetime, or that of children, but what of their children and their children’s children?

I don’t want to have the finger of blame pointing at me for screwing up this planet. So I’ll do my bit as best I can and tell people via this blog and website what they can do to help as well. No matter how small that contribution is, it’s still a contribution and a step in the right direction.

Starting as I mean to go on…
